Nick Lazanakis

Experience

Nick leads the South Africa Corporate Finance Team of BDO Corporate Finance. These activities have grown remarkably in the past years. Nick has established a professional and market-oriented team with profound knowledge of transaction advisory on both sell- and buy-side as well as for listed company transactions, MBIs, MBOs, joint ventures, mergers and IPO’s.

Prior to joining BDO in 2011, Nick co-founded Moore Stephens Corporate Finance (2008) which subsequently merged with BDO Corporate Finance. Prior to that, Nick worked in Investment Banking at AMB Capital and before that Nick worked in the Corporate Finance division of KPMG where he qualified as a CA(SA).

He has extensive knowledge in a range of industry sectors, including FMCG, Packaging, Mining, Industrial and Manufacturing, Construction and Engineering, Logistics, Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals, ICT and TMT sectors.
