Nevellan completed his articles at a big 4 audit firm. He has 10 years’ experience in financial services, many of which was spent specialising in IT audits and executing on related IT advisory projects.

He has managed retail, corporate and investment banking IT audits across the major banks in South Africa.

Nevellan is passionate about driving emerging technologies into audits as can be demonstrated through the use of robotics and data analytics into audit processes which has enabled auditors to obtain assurance over 100% of the population. Further to this Nevellan has delivered leading audit innovation initiatives at several financial services clients across the country

He also has detailed knowledge and has been responsible for creating the audit programs specific to the trading system, Front Arena. Nevellan also has detailed knowledge on credit management systems and related data which has assisted him in a number of IFRS 9 technology projects which he has lead across the financial services industry.
