Denise is a risk and governance professional with strong experience, having led risk management and compliance functions within large organisations in several countries. Over the last 22 years she has held various roles focusing on assurance, risk, governance, compliance and ethics. She played key roles at KPMG and MultiChoice Africa driving change and risk strategy and embedding risk aware and compliance cultures. She is passionate about changing mindsets when it comes to risk management and governance – to implement practical solutions and ultimately see the value that these disciplines could bring to organisations if practically embedded and embraced.

Denise believes that real value is shown if everyone in an organisation understands the role they have to play in protecting the organisation.

• Diploma in Corporate Governance from ACCA (UK)
• International Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management (IRM UK)
