Rynette Pieters is a director of BDO Business Restructuring (Pty) Ltd and a member of the South African Restructuring and Insolvency Practitioners Association (SARIPA).
She obtained her B Econ degree from the University of Stellenbosch in 1989.
Rynette holds various qualifications, inter alia, a diploma in the practice of insolvency law from the Association of the Insolvency Practitioners of South Africa (AIPSA). She has also completed a course in mercantile law at the Paralegal School of Studies and has served on the panel as an Insolvency Practitioner since 1995.
Rynette was appointed in high profile matters such as Insolvent Estate Herman Pretorius, Insolvent Estate RVAF Trust, King Financials (Pty) Ltd and Slabber Burger Transport. She attended to the liquidation where major financial institutions such as First National Bank, Absa, Standard Bank, Nedbank and Landbank were major creditors.
Presently, Rynette is actively involved in liquidation and restructuring in the business rescue of businesses. Her experience includes the admin of insolvent estates, companies in liquidation, deceased estates, curatorship, corporate recoveries, forensic investigations, business restructuring and related fields.
