Karlien joined the firm in 2009 as an article clerk. After completing her articles in 2012, she was appointed as audit manager. Her client portfolio included clients in the not-for-profit, manufacturing, professional services and hospitality industry.
In 2014, Karlien accepted a position as an auditor for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)’s Regional Inspector General, where she gained valuable experience in the donor environment.
During 2016, Karlien re-joined the firm as a senior manager with a specific focus on the not-for profit sector. Karlien was appointed as an Associate Director in September 2017 and as a Partner is September 2018.
Karlien’s key professional skills are building relationships, training, consulting and meeting deadlines in a high pressure environment.
